Upon arrival enter the front gate and go up the spiral staircase to the left. Service usually lasts about an hour and is followed by time to socialize with other members of the fellowship.

We are a lay-led fellowship which meets seasonally, roughly October to March. Services vary from week to week and include presentations from members of the fellowship and the community at large. Presentations each week can cover current events, spirituality, history, the arts, etc. The fellowship has several traditions that we participate in annually as well.

If you have never attended a Unitarian Universalist service, it is structured much like many protestant Christian services with hymns, responsive readings and a time to greet one another. Each week the fellowship participates in a chalice lighting ceremony to begin the service which is a tradition unique to UU.

Yuma's UU fellowship, like all UU congregations, welcome those of all faiths, races and sexual orientations and our services reflect this open-minded approach to personal freedom. We are a vibrant community which grows through the winter and we always welcome visitors and prospective members alike.

If you have further questions, please email tom (at) theriver.com or stop by during the coffee hour after a service for a more informal introduction to our group. Thank you for your interest in our fellowship and we look forward to meeting you in the future.
